Prince of Peace Lutheran Church
The concept for The Cherry Tree Club began in 1995 when HomeFront and Prince of Peace Lutheran Church  together acknowledged the need for preschool opportunities for the homeless families living in “welfare motels” along the Route One Corridor in Mercer County, New Jersey. Committed to doing something for these children, Prince of Peace partnered with HomeFront and determined that some type of program for these children was not only warranted but a necessity. The church has donated its facility as the home for the program ever since.
